In October 2011 in France, Médiamétrie has identified nearly 29 million viewers unique, that is to say of "Customers who watched at least one video on [their] computer screen." The number of unique vidéonautes was up 3.8% from the previous month, the time spent by 6.1%, and the number of videos viewed per person from 64 to 71 (10.9%). Top sites for watching videos, regardless of the player: You Tube (nearly 20 million viewers unique), Facebook (over 9 million) and Dailymotion (nearly 8 million).
